The Murder of Crows Curio card, illustrated by Michal Nagypal, is not found in the core Alpha set (or any other set for that matter) as an actual playable card and only appears as this Curio version. Like other Curios that display early game mechanics and templating, this infant look at the design of the game offers some interesting insight, along with an art that has still not found its home in Sorcery TCG.
NOTE: in the Gothic expansion released in December 2025, the card Murder of Crows was officially added to Sorcery, although the artwork and entire card mechanics were reworked into a brand new Magic spell. The artwork of this Curio version has yet to be seen...
New element resource symbols in the upper left title box, possibly representing Sorcery's version of "Black" mana
A circle indicating the power of the animal, as opposed to a sword and shield design in Alpha
Being - Animal describing the card, more similar to other TCGs such as Magic without any sort of flavor type line that we see today
The circle / pie chart symbol as part of the gameplay mechanic
Nothing on the bottom of the card except the Copyright, possibly revealing this version was made at a different time than Curios such as Grim Tangle, who has a lot more information such as set number/symbol lining the bottom of the card
