This is the most hotly contested Curio in all of Sorcery! Several copies of the Archimago avatar have been discovered with a Spellbook back as opposed to the typical back that says Avatar. The community has determined this to be a Curio as it shares the similarity with the Alpha Curio of the Sorcerer avatar, that one replacing its back with a special Gridlord logo.
There have also been discoveries during the second and third "waves" of printing for the Beta set, where the Sketch Avatar Curios have the wrong back as well, saying Spellbook again instead of Avatar. This could indicate that the backs were unfortunately switched because of a file mix-up during printing.
The company has not commented on this Curio's existence, which could also lead people to believe this is, in fact, a Curio because the company has a history of denouncing "fake" Curios that have been spotted in the past.
