This Curio is a Sketch version of the Realm-Eater Avatar in Gothic. Realm-Eater started as a card idea drawn by Sorcery creator Erik Olofsson and was shared online in an interview with Jesse of Erik's Curiosa. It was unclear as to if this card would ever come to fruition in Sorcery, but with the release of Gothic, it was actually printed into the set!
This Curio calls back to that original sketch and shows how what started as a funny doodle can transform into a full-fledged card in the game. The Curio has a regular Avatar back and is actually printed on a Sorcery card, unlike the original doodle.
